Summary
Placard with the slogan 'Hands off SLV' made by Adrian Flint, a photographer at The State Library, in 1990. The placard was used during a rally involving State Library of Victoria staff and concerned members of the public on 20 September 1990. Protestors marched from The State Library to The Ministry For The Arts to protest against budget cuts, resulting in reduced security staff and reduced public services for the Library going public. The placard was made using photographic methods including multiple exposures, and writing.
