Summary
Made: circa 1848 - 1950. Sometimes used in mental health hospitals in Victoria as bedding. The blankets are reinforced and made to resist damage that might be caused by distressed patients.
Physical Description
Heavy blanket consists of two layers of strong white canvas quilted into 5 cm. squares. There seems to be very little padding.
