Dental Wax, circa 1920. Used in a psychiatric hospital Lakeside Mental Hospital, in Ballarat, Victoria Australia circa 1920. Used in the dental surgery for making dental impressions.

Physical Description

12 small sheets of dental wax, thin and semi-transparent, coloured pale yellow. Three of the sheets are wrapped around and melted onto a flat square piece of lead. (The two materials appear to have become congealed during long storage.)
