Cast iron pitcher possibly used for holding water in the kitchen of a psychiatric hospital in Victoria Australia circa 1900
Physical Description
Pitcher is cylindrical, sloping in at the top. It has a hinged lid and a long spout attached half way down the body of the pitcher. On the rim at the top of the straight body of the vessel are 2 rivetted brackets to hold a handle (which is missing). Opposite the spout is a rivetted tipping handle.
