Summary
This bronze bust of James Andrew Kershaw, former Museum Director of National Museum of Victoria was commissioned towards the end of his career. Kershaw spent his entire life associated with the Museum. It is presumed this bust was commissioned by his family.
Physical Description
A bronze bust of James Andrew Kershaw. Modelled bust is of a man with a moustache and a short beard. The metal bust is hollow. A wooden block inserted into the marble base holds the bust upright. It is attached with a metal screw. The cylindrical base is of solid marblem coloured brown with buff coloured chips in the stone.
