Summary
Panettone container brought out to Australia by Laura Mecca in 1990 during one of her visits home to Italy. Panettone is the traditional Christmas cake of Milan, in northern Italy, where it originated over 200 years ago. It was manufactured by Motta.
Physical Description
Circular cardboard box with lid, once bright blue now faded. The box has metal eyelets around the top which have string threaded through them. There is text and a logo printed on the box in white and a label has been stuck onto one side.
