Saw used for terrazzo work, by an Italian migrant involved in the Australian terrazzo trade. Terrazzo is a technique where marble chips and other fine aggregates are exposed in a concrete (originally clay) surface, the surface is polished and sealed preserving the wet and marble-like look.
Physical Description
Wooden hand saw. H-shaped frame with additional wooden leg and serrated blade at top. Twisted string (two pieces) and piece of yellow coated wire between bottom supports.
