Set of reference sheets on Hindeloopen Folk Art written by artist Yoka Van Den Brink, circa 1993. Hindeloopen craft techniques date back to the 16th century, to the port of Hindeloopen, in Friesland in the North of Holland where sailors developed a decorative tradition of handpainting domestic items to add colour to the dark houses through winter. Motifs include flowers, scrolls, buds, birds and sometimes bible scenes and landscapes.

Collection of 17 sheets of information on Hindeloopen Folk Art. Volume four contains a brief biography of the author, brief history of Hindeloopen, a colour chart and designs for various projects including a large tray table, large corner shelf unit and vienna coffee tin cover. Also included is an order form for additional design kits. The frontpiece for the kit illustrates the Hindeloopen Folk art in colour against a black background.
