The National Archives hold six files relating to the State Emergency Services (Victoria) Evacuation Committee under the series AWM81, dating 1941-1943, including an evacuation map of Melbourne and movement orders for municipalities. The Australian War Memorial holds a knapsack made by parents for their children, to a pattern printed in Circular EV.42, which was distributed by the Victorian State Emergency Services Evacuation Committee circa 1942-1943 - reg.no. REL25591.
