Summary
Duplicate of a typewritten appeal letter from T.H.McVilly, Secretary, Association for the Advancement of the Blind appealing for donations to the Association and to Royal Victorian Institute of the Blind. The letter is dated 9 February 1931. The appeal aimed to raise £50,000 to be shared between the two organisations, however in the midst of the Great Depression raising funds was difficult and the appeal fell £10,000 short of it's £50,000 target.
