Summary

Badge, alternatively known as a button, made by Patrick Bros circa 1986. It is part of collection of buttons assembled by the donor while active in left-wing politics at University of Melbourne 1979 - 1986. The No Smoking symbol - a cigarette with a red line through it - has been used to discourage smoking since the 1960s.

Physical Description

This is a ciircular button with a white background and a red border. The cigarette is white, outlined in black and with a red end and smoke. There is a red line through the cigarette. There is a welded pin on back.
