Badge, alternatively known as a button, depicting Vladimir Lenin, head of the Soviet state from 1917 - 1924. It also shows the symbol of the Soviet state, and of Communism, the Hammer and Sickle.
Physical Description
This is a gold coloured plastic button in the shape of a shield. It has a raised border, like a lightly folded ribbon. At the centre Lenin's head is depicted, surrounded by a fluted area radiating from the centre. The fluted area is covered in a clear laquer. At the base in border is the hammer and sickle. On the back pin and catch, there is a raised logo and printing and a stippled effect over entire back.
