Blue close fitting hat trimmed with white/green organza flowers and leaves with plastic stamens. Similar in style to a pillbox hat, but softened in form.

Used: circa 1950-1960. Bought or made by the donor's wife, Mrs Barty.

Physical Description

Blue close fitting hat trimmed with white/green organza flowers and leaves with plastic stamens. Blocked sparterie shaped covered with heavily layered veiling. Sparterie wired brim covered with royal blue satin. Brim is finished at back of hat with a flat bow. White acetate lining.
