Summary
This dress designed and manufactured in Melbourne by Prue Acton P/L in 1965. It was originally worn by donor. Fabric is a wool/dacron blend.
It is typical of pinafore style. This cut and shape were very popular. Different version made every year in a different fabric (like chiffon) with variety in the detail. Important from the design point of view.
Physical Description
Tunic style long-sleeved black mini dress, pleated at front. Neckline is square and sleeves are elasticized at the wrist. Self-fabric belt attached at front, to be tied at the back. Fastened at the back with a nylon zip
