Summary
This waistcoat was designed and manufactured in Melbourne by Prue Acton P/L in 1969, as part of her `Juliet' range, which was inspired by the release of the film `Romeo and Juliet' in 1968.
It was originally worn by donor, possibly with hotpants.
Physical Description
Black velvet waistcoat trimmed around edges with gold braid and black lace. Black buttons fasten the front. Lined in black satin rayon.
