Summary
This jumper was designed and manufactured in Melbourne by Prue Acton P/L circa 1974. It was originally worn by the donor.
'Berber' range was very popular in 1970s. It followed the Australian Wool Corporation's launch of 'Berber' type carpets, blankets, furnishings and upholstery fabrics. 'Berber' name taken from the tribesmen of North Africa and their use of natural coloured wool.

Beige woollen jumper with set in sleeves in beige with black and cream horizontal stripes across upper front.
