Summary
This jumper was designed and manufactured in Melbourne by Prue Acton P/L circa 1975.This example was worn by the donor, often with the cream skirt in the collection SH 942043. Ribbon work on the jumper is similar to the framed Cornelly embroidery work samples in the collection SH 942214.
Physical Description
Cream coloured dolman sleeved jumper. Back neckline opening is fastened with a pearl button. The front and shoulders are appliqued with cream ribbons and braids in leaf patterns interspersed with diamante decoration. Jumper is machine knitted.
