Summary
This sample dress was designed and manufactured in Melbourne by Prue Acton P/L circa 1975. It was part of the 'patch'story from the 1970s. According to the donor, the pattern maker for this garment was 'Chello' of Richmond who also made this sample, which was cut too full to be practical. The production version was simpler in design.
