Summary
This mini dress was designed and manufactured in Melbourne by Prue Acton P/L circa 1967. This example was originally worn by the donor.
Bonded fabric adapted by Prue Acton to keep better shape, etc. The fabric was possibly made by John Jacques. This design produced in three different colourways. Bonded fabric was a 1960s innovation. It was seen as a good fit and shape to the body, easier to sew and stopped running. More shape, less cling, and was inexpensive.
Physical Description
