Summary
This mini dress was designed and manufactured in Melbourne by Prue Acton P/L in 1967. This example was worn by donor with a matching coat (not in the collection.) It is a similar design to the donor's 'Gown of the Year entry with Bugle beads (which didn't win.)
According to the donor, the style went from evening (Victoriana) to casual sportswear.
Physical Description
Dark blue and pink horizontal striped A-line mini dress with short sleeves. The front opening is fastened with press-studs. Has a round neckline.
