This cardigan and vest set was designed and manufactured in Melbourne by Prue Acton P/L in 1965. It was originally worn by donor.
The two pieces could be worn separately or together. They could also be worn with grey jersey trousers and white shirt underneath with a tie, or with a Harris Tweed coat.
Physical Description
Dark grey woolen knit set of cardigan and vest, with red and white trim on all edges. Both fastened at front with hook-and-eyes, both are collarless and have two patch pockets at the front. Cardigan has long sleeves.
