Summary
This pair of gloves were designed and manufactured in Melbourne by Prue Acton P/L in 1984. They were worn by the donor with the `Concorde' ensemble (SH 942111) to the 1984 Melbourne Cup.
Prue Acton's Melbourne Cup clothing was specially designed for her to draw attention to Australian designers and in particular her forthcoming winter range.
Physical Description
Pair of gloves. Hand and fingers in white cotton. Wrist in white and navy gro-grain decorated with white and navy stitched lines, which also creates triangle on back of hand.
