This necklace was designed and manufactured in Melbourne by Prue Acton P/L circa 1981. It was worn by the donor with several outfits, such as the 1983 Evening Ensemble in the Museum's collection (SH 942090.)
Physical Description
Large shell necklace mounted on grey and silver padded band decorated with grey and silver cord, smaller shells, reptile skin and other grey fabrics. Shell has painted spiral band in green and is attached to fabric. Cords are tied at the neck back.
