Jakas Soft Toys was a Melbourne-based company which designed and manufactured genuine high quality soft toys from 1956. Their range included teddy bears, golliwogs, animals and birds. They ceased production in the late 1990s outlasting many local toy manufacturers competing with cheaper overseas imports.
Physical Description
Enlarged colour print on A3 size paper of a triangular shaped Jakas Soft Toys swing tag design. There is a triangular 'Australian Made' logo pasted at the top of the design with an illustration of a merino sheep's head in red within a red outline of Australia pasted in the centre. The Jakas company name and tagline is printed at the bottom of the swing tag design.
