Summary
This brooch was commissioned by Prue Acton from the Melbourne jeweller Dan Scurry in the 1980s. It was worn by the donor with one of her Melbourne Cup Outfits.
Jeweller Marcos Davidson shared a studio with Dan Scurry in Little Bourke Street, Melbourne.  Marcos did some early work with titanium but later Dan Scurry mostly worked with titanium.
