Summary
This pair of earrings were commissioned by Prue Acton from the Melbourne jeweller Marcos Davidson in 1979. According to manufacturer the earrings were made for the donor for the launch of the 'Explorer' range of clothes. Camels were used by explorers in Central Australia and Prue Acton's love of animal associations in themes influenced the choice of camels for the design.
Physical Description
