Summary

Mural commissioned by Museum Victoria in 1992, for use in the exhibition "Bridging Two Worlds: Jews, Italians and Carlton". This mural was hung in the mock coffee shop area of the exhibition and was painted by Mr B Cengarle. The exhibition was prepared by the Jewish Museum, the Italian Historical Society Co.As.It and Museum Victoria. It explored the domestic and working lives of Italians and Jews in Carlton from the 1910s to the 1980s.
