Summary
Small rectangular mat manufactured in the matmaking workshops at the R.V.I.B. Factory, circa 1970s-1980s. According to Malcolm Fraser, the workshop supervisor, these small sized mats were sold to a Tasmanian company who fixed to recesses beside the wheels in bitumen laying machines to clean the wheels. This mat was left over after the closure of the workshop in 1992.
