Item NU 35714 Medal - Melbourne Centenary, Victoria, Australia, 1934

Summary

Bronze medal issued in 1934 to commemorate the centenary of the foundation of Melbourne. It features the Southern Cross constellation on a shield. It was designed by English immigrant medal designer Rayner G. Hoff. Hoff died three years after the medal was issued.
