Summary
Alternative Name(s): Eye Shields
Two packets of rectangular cardboard cover, dark brown with black writing on the back and the front. Each packet contains six clear, plastic eyeshields. Each one is separated and protected by a layer of thick, brown paper.
The packets are dated 1942, so it seems likely that these were manufactured as a war-time saftey device, rather than industrial. They were collected by workers from Whelan the Wrecker at some point thereafter, during the demolishion of a building.
