A small gilt copper medal with milled edge struck to commemorate the South Australian sesqui-centenary in 1986. It featres the Adelaide Festival Centreand the Logo of the South Australian sesqui-centenary, a bird with 'wings' raised. The reverse suggests the madal should be in sterling silver (STG.SIL) but it is gilded with copper showing through on the wear area at the high relief point of the building on the obverse.
