Physical Description

A small (27 mm) cupro-nickel medal struck on the occasion of the 175th Anniversary of the foundation of the Westpac Bank (Bank of New South Wales). It features a Southern Right Whale's head breaching the ocean, an endangered species.

Obverse Description

At centre within a wide rim formed by a line circle, a Southern Right Whale's head breaching the ocean; below, a Southern Right Whale; around on wide rim, World Wildlife Fund for Nations Endangered Species 1992.

Reverse Description
