Commemorative medal for the Adelaide Exhibition, South Australia, 1881.
A gilt commemorative (23 mm diameter), it features a profile portrait bust of Queen Victoria crowned and wearing a long veil facing left with a little of her right eye showing and a front view of the Adelaide Exhibition Building with flags flying. It was originally struck with a loop, but it has been broken off. This exhibition opened in June 1887 and closed in January 1888.
