Wooden toy vanity basin, painted green. Part of a doll's house set with 58 items of furniture and other accessories, dating from 1937 and used until the 1980s. From a collection of toys used in Mornington, Victoria, by the donor, now Mrs McLean, and her brothers and sisters during the period 1937-1940, and by Mrs McLean's children during the late 1970s-1980s.
Physical Description
Crudely-formed wooden vanity basin, pedestal style, painted green, with backing pieces at basin at foot of toy, each trimmed with blue paint with red painted dots as highlights. The pedestal is made out of a tiny piece of turned wood. Brass split pin (?) in place of taps.
