Summary
Folded passenger accommodation plan for the TN Sydney operated by the Flotta Lauro Lines. The plan shows the layout of cabins and public spaces on C,B, and A decks, Foyer deck, promenade deck, boat deck and sun deck. There are a total of 119 first class and 994 tourist class passengers, and the ship is air conditioned throughout. The plan was drawn by Edizione Maggio and printed by Arti Grafiche Bozzo, Genova, Italy in 1959.
The TN Sydney was built as C3 class cargo ship, and was changed to a Auxiliary Aircraft Carrier during construction and was eventually launched in April 1942, as the H.M.S. Fencer. She was used by the Royal Navy for wartime duties. Following the war she was purchased by Flotta Lauro Lines to be refitted as a passenger liner to be used in the Italy to Australia migrant transportation.
