Summary
Hand made marionette depicting the fairy tale character The Big Bad Wolf. It was manufactured and operated in Melbourne by Alex and Murray Smith, who performed as part of Le Forgeron Marionettes from 1930 until 1956.
Physical Description
Marionette depicting a wolf. He is wearing a fabric shirt and pants and has black hair all over his body. He has movable arms and legs, and glass eyes. There are operating strings attached to numerous parts of him, including his head, limps and shoulders. The feet have been weighted.
