This wax model is based on a specimen grown and presented to the museum by Charles Draper of Hazelglen in 1875. The model was made in the museum by Thomas McMillan in 1875 for the Philadelphia Centennial Exhibition in 1876. Duplicate of Reg Item 13630.
Synonyms: Majetin, Winter Majettin. This apple is a cooking variety and is harvested in winter.
