Device that demonstrates visually the mechanism of the relationship between grid voltage and plate current in a triode. The degree of plate current is shown on the fluorescent plate.
Valve manufactured by Amalgamated Wireless Valve Co. Pty. Ltd., Sydney. Display unit was made by museum staff, but discarded in 1991.
Physical Description
Large tubular bulb with large 4 pin bayonet base with metal shell . Short lenghts of wire have been soldered to each of the pins.
