Summary

Wax model of a White-ant Worker Borer beetle, an insect which is considered a pest. It is likley this model was made by museum model makers based on a specimen presented to the museum by the Department of Agriculture of Victoria, circa 1910s - 1950s.

Physical Description

Brown six legged insect with a long thorax and two small, curled antennae. This model is made from wax and has been painted. Metal has been used as an armature on the legs and antenna.
