Physical Description

Six chambered cylinder with standard length flutes, steel trigger guard, solid steel frame, steel back strap, wooden grips, blade front sight, loading gate on R.H.side. Knurling on hammer is framed in an inverted U. Barrel address is a Hartford address. Serial number 96269, loading gate is number 1705, cylinder numeral stamp illegible due to defective action. Three-line patent stamping on left hand side of frame. Unusual patterning effect across all steel components, possible as a result of the steel quality. Action is defective.
