Pathe eclipse gazers. Proceeds went to the Diggers Appeal Fund for the employment or returned World War I soldiers on the Great Ocean Road project. It was constructed between 1918 and 1932, in large part using the labour of returned soldiers. Between 1932 and 1936 it was a toll road.
