David Rosenblatt migrated from Poland in 1929, bringing his plant of automatic lathes and precision gear-cutting tools, and establishing a precision engineering business in Melbourne. His son, Binem Pesach Rosenblatt, was responsible for the design and construction of the clock.

Physical Description

Electric movement in a round bakelite case supported by square stands on each side. Dial has a figure of a man above 6, black hands, and black arabic numerals. Brass sweep second hand with crescent. Electric synchronous movement. Includes electric cord and plug.
