Summary
Transmitting triode introduced by Philips in 1923. Capable of producing an output of 240 watts.
10 - 10.5 volt directly heated tungsten cathode.
This valve came from Mr Maxwell Howden via the Wireless Institute of Australia. An article in the 'Listener In' for January 24 1925 by Mr Howden shows one of these valves in use in his transmitter. It is reasonable to assume that this is the valve which he acquired in 1924.
