Physical Description
Muzzle loading, smooth bore, octagonal twist barrel 5 7/8 in. (150 mm) long, one platinum band at breech, "U" notch backsight, nickel silver bead foresight, overall length 11 in. (280 mm). Side lock (back action) & hammer, oval steel trigger guard. Wooden stock extends to muzzle, chequered grip with rounded butt, diamond shape silver monogram plate, wooden ramrod with swelled brass tip & screw end. Mounts engraved with foliate scrolls.
