Summary
AGEE CD 490 Type III telegraph line insulator, said to be from the East-West Transcontinental Telegraph Line. Manufactured sometime between 1930 and 1937. Insulator is made from purple glass and is of a double umbrella shape. Made in Sydney by Australian Glass Manufacturers.
