Muzzle loading, smooth bore twist barrels 4 9/16 in. (111 mm) long, fitted with a top rib, nickel silver bead foresight, overall length 9 3/8 in. (238 mm). Back action side locks & hammers engraved with foliate scrolls, oval steel trigger guard, two triggers,. Wooden stock extends almost to muzzle, chequered grip, wooden ramrod (brass tip missing, silver monogram plate.
