Flintlock pocket pistol, cal. 63 bore (approx. .425), screw off brass smoothbore cannon barrel, 6.70cm long.
Made by Preston & Co., England, circa1800.
Physical Description
Box lock brass action with steel sliding safety catch, hammer and frizzen. Round steel triggerguard with floral motif, and trigger. Wooden flat sided grips, damaged and parts missing on boths sides. Overall light brusing to brass lock and barrel in the form of numerous dents and scratches.
