Chain belonged to the donor's husband's father. Sovereign case engraved 'From C & E Booth 1912'; monogram on lid 'J.F.B.'.
Physical Description
Two gold chains hanging from a fob. There is a round silver sovereign at the end of one length and a rectangular silver bookcase with round lense in the cover at the end of the other length. The gold links of the chain have faceted edges.

Sovereign case engraved 'From C & E Booth 1912'; monogram on lid 'J.F.B.' Birmingham hallmarks and date for 1910. Dictionary has maroon covers with 'Bryce's English Dictionary' stamped in gold letters. Bar and clips of chain stamped 'G.B.D.'.
