This wax model was based on a specimen grown and presented to the museum by J. C. Cole of Richmond Nursery, 1873. The model was made in the museum by Thomas McMillan.
This apple is a dessert variety and is harvested in summer. This variety is not in Ikin's Listing of Fruits, 1974 edition.
