Summary
Wax model of Nouvelle Fulvie pear, also known as Fulvie Gregoire, and Belle de Jarnac. The Nouvelle Fulvie is a dessert variety, harvested in winter. This variety is not in the 1974 edition of Ikin's listing of fruits.
Model based on specimen grown and presented by John C. Cole of Richmond Nurseries in 1875. The model was made in the museum by Thomas McMillan for the Philadelphia Centennial Exhibition of 1876.
